My Life - 9/10-1952 - 3/31/2008
My daughter, Carly, and blog-friend Lucy asked me to do a pictorial blog about my life. It was not easy to capture 55 years in one photo array.

WOW! These are wonderful Rick. You are so lucky to have so many childhood pics! I LOVE the one in the long nightgown, VErY Sweetpea like! All these great shots from the classic '50s home, showing the decors that I remember from our old pictures. You've changed a lot through the years, but Your kind baby blues haven't and they show us who our true Myrtle beached poet really is! This is a great way for you and your family to treasure your memories! NOW, for the next request... TEXT about all these great times! haha!! ( as tony little says.. YOU CAN DO IT!)
Wow! What a great collection of pictures. Why is it that all our living rooms and curtains look the same in those old pictures? I need to get back to Mom's and scan more pictures. Visit Silver Valley Girl's blog to see an amazing tribute video to our dad Pert. Scroll down about three or four posts.
Wonderful montage of photos for your children. I enjoyed walking through the different era's. Really fun. Sweet pictures with all the kids.
ReplyDeleteAny relation to Rufus? Love his music, the kids went to his concert last summer!!
Hugs Sherrie

ReplyDeleteI love it! Thanks for doing it. I know it must have taken some time. Boy I can certainly see Carson in many of those pics. Carly
ReplyDeleteHmm. Long Hair should be worth at least 3 trips around the bases, after a double header, at night, about 11:00 p.m. Ha!
