Wordless Wednesday - The Disciple - 3/11/09
My son, Josh, took this photo of his niece, Kendall, and his monster Lab, Bob. It looks like a Norman Rockwell painting. I entitled it "The Disciple".
That's a wonderful photo. I also liked the ones from yesterday's springtime photos. Being a lifelong South Carolinian, it's hard for me to imagine spring as a snow season.
My grandparents had a shepherd that would watch us like that. Once a cousin got to close to the road and he carried her back to the house by the seat of her pants.
Bob's weight is not measured like most dogs. We weigh him the way they weigh tractor-trailer rigs at a Department of Transportation weigh station. We drive onto the scale with him in the car and then take him out and drive back on and reweigh.
I LOVE THIS!!!!! We were the lucky owners of a black lab, "Kizzie" for 11 years. She was the best dog. She's been gone for over 2 years, and we still miss her!
I love how the dog seems to be watching her every move!
ReplyDeleteNice! Photography is in his future, I think.
ReplyDeleteI love this! So good. Bob is such a good kid dog. Love ya Carly
ReplyDeleteAww... she's being well-looked-after.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! Kind of the reverse version of a dogsitter.

ReplyDeleteIn Wyoming, summer can be a snow season.
But which one is the disciple?
ReplyDeleteGreat dog! I love me some monster Labs. Or just monster dogs in general really.
Cool shot.
Wow! How big is that dog? I have a 100 pound lab, but that one looks significantly bigger.
