3 Word Wednesday & 55 Flash Fiction Friday

The prompts for 3WW this week were glass, question, and token. The first thing that came to mind turned into a 55 Flash Fiction Friday submission too. It is great to be lazy.

Who is the old man in the glass? Is this some kind of funhouse mirror that progresses age like a police computer program? The eyes he recognizes without question, but the face is that of a stranger. What once were only token lines and wrinkles are now carvings, chiseled by the many ravages of time.

If you didn't have a Green Day song playing I would have to sue you for using my photo without permission!

I loved this. So realistic.

I think we all look in the mirror and wonder... when did that change? How'd that get there? I look at a picture from just two years ago and wonder how I can look so old now in comparison.

Wow, that was a great 55. I can relate to a certain extent. My wrinkles have already begun, but I surely don't feel old enough for that yet. :D

WO that man looks like he is made of stone! There is a turning point in life, when you look in the mirror and ACTUALLY SEE yourself changing. I am going through that THIS year and it is really really scaring me. ( and quite frankly Pissing me off)
Great take on the 3 words baby!
